wow... the power escalation in this series is seriously bad...
where other cultivation stories end at around warlord or god of war level, this story doesn't know such moderation.
i mean, is there even a need to get beyond universe level? if an enemy wants something from you, just sneak into their galaxy while they aren't looking and BOOM their base is gone and so is their army!
there is no real reason to get beyond that level since the largest natural structures are galaxies. everything beyond that is just many galaxies bunched together. and there is no need for ressource competition since there is seriously enough for every higher being, since they are so rare.
the only reason i can think of is that the monsters are also able to reach that level and probable know no moderation.

This must have been a lil time consuming for ya, but good on you for allowing people to get general since of the rankings of the different stages of cultivation.

I wonder why MC didn't think to ask how such a strong person died and came to earth. Seems like he got overwhelmed by scale of universe forgot to think about the enemies of his strong master.

The master was in possession of an item that was coveted by a stronger individual/group that destroyed the planet and his master to obtain it, The master was within the ship and an attack penetrated its hull killing the master, and when he died all his subordinates that had a soul seal linked to the master died instantly and babata flew the damaged ship and crashed on earth that was the official reason anyway. But earth itself was created by a much stronger being that toys with the most powerful beings that rule the universe which the MC becomes the disciple of because we collects the the pieces for the inheritance and then takes on the disguise of a certain figure that everyone hates, But there is a secret about earth that any natural born earthling has some kind of ability unique to earth and when that secrete is discovered the powers that be try to take a share of earth which the MC cant fight off and it takes time until he is at a level where he can force them off earth and it becomes his territory once again.

Agreed, that's what I was wondering this whole time as she boasted about her OP starlord master. Something must've went terribly wrong, like most highly civilized civilizations that were too smart for their own good.

Or betrayal, though even if betrayed and caught off guard, I'd think he'd still be too powerful, with an impenetrable universal armor body, plus millions of experience, artifacts, weapons and more at his disposal. He'd easily dispose of them.

Or slain by other beings/entities of the same level or higher than the starlord, which seems most likely from the info revealed to us about their untimely demise. He had some OP enemies/rivals, that we might see in the future, as I'm sure when the MC approaches their level, he'll be on their radar and they'd make an appearance. Might be able to meet the killer of his new deceased master, and see how powerful these beings really are, possibly even get to see the MC avenge his late master (the starlord) and defeat his adversaries!!

That should be in the next episode I think, judging from what he says in the preview.

Its like your whole life you felt that earth, and humans was the most dominant sentient beings in the universe. Just to get hit with all this knowledge of even more advanced more powerful sentient beings ranging by the 100 of thousands of planets in the vast galaxies, knowing that you, humans are just a spec a flea of sentient beings in this grand scale of civilizations in the universe. Now acknowledging that fact, knowing and gaining that knowledge wouldn't it make your head explode XD. Also what choice did Luo Feng have, but not to accept Babata master as his own its like Accept, or die not saying a course you would accept that's like a one in million life time golden chance right there, but he didn't have a choice in the matter to begin with XD.

They were discussing the same thing just the anime did it the more confusing translation . If you listen to what Baba said in the anime she told him to have offspring then pick the strongest one and take over the body of that offspring. Basically long convoluted way of saying soul transfer in the anime. That is why he said is their another way .

What Babata said was 夺舍. Direct translation, 夺 means ‘snatch’ and 舍 means ‘residence/home’. When not taken too literally, it can mean ‘bodysnatch’ since your body is your ‘home’.

The mtl translator likely interpreted it as 多生 which is to produce offspring.

Their pronunciation is “duo she” Vs “duo sheng” so it’s quite similar.
